Today I (Stewart) had a wonderful experience. During our third show of the day I partially cut the flower leaving it dangling by a thread in my fathers hand. After a small amount of deliberation my father decided to remove the part of the stem he was holding, leaving me with approximately 5.5 inches of cutable stem. The first throw struck the head of the flower knocking the stem from dads hand. The second throw was a couple inches low of the stem. But the third throw was .5 inches behind the head of the flower making for the shortest flower I have ever cut.
